Here's a few tips to help you on your way to shift those few lbs if you're not entirely sure where to start. One thing's for sure though, is that it's NOT with some fad diet plan which claims you can lose 20lbs in a week. Sure you may drop numbers on the scale but one thing I guarantee is that you will end up in a constant cycle of fad dieting/binge eating/fad dieting which is not healthy...remember with anything in life there are no good results from a quick fix . We want to teach you that leading a healthy lifestyle and getting your ideal body composition can be easy to maintain and there is nothing complicated about it at all!
▪️Cut out junk food - the first week is always hardest but your mind and body will get used to it.
▪️Try and do some form of cardio before breakfast: dog walk, brisk walk, cardio machine, fitness class.
▪️If morning cardio isn't viable, do high intensity intervals post workout.
▪️Drink plenty of water...add sugar free cordial if needs be.
▪️Make sure you weight train at least 3 times a week.
▪️Move more in general: take the stairs, do more cleaning, walk instead of use the car.
▪️Fruit is still sugar so if you eat alot, cut it out.
▪️Consume most of your carbs around workouts - pre, intra, post and for other meals have protein/fat. Everyone is different though, and all gym members can get a free diet assessment.
▪️Avoid alcohol...the weekend can often negate everything good you've done in the week.
▪️Consume good fibrous vegetables.
▪️Prep your meals ready for the weekend so you don't just grab anything.
▪️Get plenty of sleep
▪️Consume clean foods - chicken, lean steak, salmon, white fish, potatoes, rice, a bit of pasta or a wrap is ok, oats.
▪️Use herbs, onions, peppers, garlic, tinned tomatoes to make your food tasty...it doesn't have to be bland!
▪️Eat every 2.5-3 hours.
▪️BE CONSISTENT!

There is absolutely nothing complicated about it. Too many people try and over think things with silly diet fads and end up right back at the beginning after a few months.
